Very nice soul food restaurant! First of all the food was very good but it's hit or miss. The manhattan beef and ribs were okay. BUT the smothered chicken was AMAZING. What makes it even better is that you can "refill" on your entrees/meats. The side which you can also refill were very good! All of them tasted like they were made with loved. The cord bread is a must as well. It is sooo good. The service was okay. Nothing spectacular but its not bad. And BEWARE this restaurant is CASH ONLY so make sure to bring cash to pay for your food!

The food is ok. I was a bit tuned off. They only take cash. I did not have cash on me. So the owner told me to go get some cash. He asked for me to leave my ID AND my family at the restaurant and come back. I have never been back since. And probably want visit again.

Food is perfect. Got sick off sweet potatoes cause they wasn't done . But it was so good I had to eat them anyway. Other than that I'm n there every week

I think it is kid friendly, the flavors are mild vs. rich. I prefer really rich soul food. I cook alot of soul food and I use plentiful seasoning, pork, and butter to add to the flavors. This restaurant uses basic really neutral seasonings so if you are diabetic or have a special diet it will be great for you. If you are looking for Christmas or Thanksgiving at Grandma's house this is not that type of Soul Food.

Yes!! Great only on certain days. But, what we do is is get the fried pork chops and add gravy to them. Right now their closed down due to a fire.

You pay one price for whatever meat and sides you select and you are allowed an unlimited amount of the same items. So basically you can get a refill of your meat and sides at no extra charge. The food is really great and service is decent.
